After the success of our 2020 general meeting by only the slimmest of margins, it has become more important than ever for APABI members to stay in touch regularly. Therefore, in order to share updates on the banking sector, and to give members the chance to promote their activities and research, we are starting a regular newsletter. Below you will find several sections:

Recently, following a number of high-profile appointments, the issue of women in banking has once again risen to prominence. TABF's Taiwan Banker magazine devoted its December issue to the topic, and I wrote a note which is included below. Every part of the finance ecosystem, including training institutes, has a role to play in promoting equality
