【2023】APABI_February

Dear APABI members:

Following the 2008 financial crisis, financial stability was the watchword for financial regulators. Today, however, with the rise of digitalization and the disruption of the pandemic, countries around the world are putting much more weight on non-financial issues like ethics and integrity. This new emphasis will involve not just new procedures, but also new relationships with regulators in order to proactively discover issues before they turn into real problems. You can read more about this topic in the Insights section below.

During our meeting in Ulaanbaatar last year, members voted to hold an online forum in 2023, organized by the TABF secretariat. Our current plan is for July. We welcome member feedback at the early stage of planning, and invite you to take our 2-minute survey below. Also, if your contact information needs to be updated, this form will allow you to do so.

I look forward to seeing other members later this year.

 Sincerely,
 Dr. Hank C.C. Huang
