Mustafa Safi is a banker, lecturer, and trainer with over 8 years of experience in the financial sector. He holds an MBA in Finance and currently serves as the CEO of AIBF, leading national initiatives in capacity building and professional development for Afghanistan’s banking industry. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of MAMI Microfinance.
He brings diversified experience across finance, operations, credit, and conversion to Islamic banking, along with strong exposure to corporate governance and supervisory oversight. As an active lecturer and trainer in Islamic banking, financial management, and Sharia-compliant systems, he contributes to the development of human capital in the sector.
